A little about us…

2Dog Design is a small, independent creative studio founded by Lisa Papa, a product and visual designer with deep roots in the New York City design community. With a background in Graphic and Communication Design from FIT, Lisa blends strategy, storytelling, and craft to create thoughtful, human-centered design work.

The studio is also home to Lisa’s illustration practice, including The Adventures of Molly and Dawson—a whimsical, character-driven series inspired by her two black Labrador retrievers and a love of playful visual storytelling.

Lisa partners with nonprofit organizations, small businesses, and startups to elevate brands beyond off-the-shelf solutions. She creates custom identities, digital experiences, print materials, and illustrations that feel authentic, intentional, and built to last. Every project begins with understanding the story, clarifying the message, and designing with purpose.

And of course, no 2Dog Design story is complete without Molly and Dawson:

Molly (aka Miss Molly) is a little smaller than your typical black lab, but she makes up for it in personality. Curious, mischievous, and always ready to stir things up with her perfectly timed bark and signature yellow collar.

Dawson (aka Mr. D) is the classic black lab—big head, big heart, and an even bigger bark. A loyal protector, noble hunter, and a slightly clumsy frisbee player, Dawson proudly wears his red collar.

Together, they bring a touch of whimsy, warmth, and inspiration to everything we do.
